Yerevan Deputy Mayor David Ohanyan met with the representative of the German Red Cross regional organization of Baden-Wurttemberg, the leader of «Charity kitchen» program in Yerevan Carl-Heintz Schaide who is from German city of Schawabisch Gmund, is a pensioner priest and has been carrying charity programs in Yerevan for 23 years. The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Social Welfare Ruzanna Zakaryan was present at the meeting too.

David Ohanyan greeted the guest on behalf of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and thanked him for the benevolent activity carried out in Yerevan for years. David Ohanyan and Carl-Heintz Schaide discussed the process of the programs and the additional possibilities. «Our cooperation has already become a friendship. Your benevolent initiatives are highly appreciated by the residents: for example the project «Outreach service» being implemented in teamwork with us the beneficiaries of which are 125 elderly residents of Erebuni and Kentron district.

The Social Welfare Department of Yerevan Municipality carried out a survey among the beneficiaries and they expressed their satisfaction with the program which inspired us to make the program long-term», said the Deputy Mayor. Carl-Heintz Schaide in his turn thanked Yerevan Municipality for the comprehensive assistance in their initiatives. «The friendly partnership and successful cooperation we have with Yerevan Municipality inspire me to carry out as many benevolent projects as possible in Yerevan and for Armenian people in general. Tomorrow is an important day for us: we are starting the 22nd season of «Charity kitchen» program. And I am glad to be helpful with my initiatives», said the leader of «Charity kitchen» program in Yerevan.

The issues related to the conditions of «Charity kitchen» program implementation in Yerevan were discussed during the meeting as well.
