Founded during the 2020 Artsakh war, Santé Arménie is a French non-profit organization dedicated to sustainably improving Armenia’s healthcare system. By bringing together European volunteers and Armenian medical professionals, its work focuses on Syunik, a region far from the capital, where healthcare facilities are largely concentrated. In this context, Santé Arménie brings healthcare directly to the people of Syunik—free of charge, while also training local professionals to strengthen Armenia’s healthcare system in the long run.

The organization operates through four key strategic pillars:

1. Access to care & infrastructure development – in the Syunik region, Santé  Arménie implements innovative healthcare solutions, including mobile general medicine units serving remote villages, specialized psychotrauma care, and rehabilitation centers providing comprehensive treatment for patients with neuro-orthopedic conditions.
2. Training & skills transfer – The association equips Armenian healthcare  professionals with top-tier training from European experts to elevate medical practices. Training programs are available online via the Santé Arménie Medical Academy or through in-person courses and conferences that provide accredited certifications.
3. Scientific research & innovation – Santé Arménie fosters local scientific  advancement by establishing a clinical research center, a biobank, and an immuno-oncology laboratory in Yerevan.
4. Collaboration with local institutions – French volunteers work in close partnership with local authorities to ensure the long-term sustainability and impact of their initiatives.                                                                                              Since its inception, Santé Arménie has carried out over 100 medical missions in Armenia and Artsakh, mobilizing volunteer healthcare professionals from France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Spain.Today, a dedicated team of 35 employees operates on the ground, supported by European volunteers who bridge medical expertise between Armenia and Europe, strengthening local skills and ensuring high-quality care.                                                                                        You can support Santé Arménie’s mission by making a donation at the following link․
