The Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick said he had seen the reports about the operation to recover the bodies of the crew members killed in the November 12 downing of a military helicopter along the Line of Contact.
“The November 12 incident was a tragedy that must be avoided in the future. We urge the parties to show restraint and refocus their efforts on negotiating a peaceful and lasting settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Further violence and retaliation will undermine peace talks and impede the resolution of humanitarian issues that arise as a result of the conflict,” said the diplomat in an interview with APA agency.
