Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan accompanied by his Marseille colleague visited Chateau Borely built in the 18th century, got acquainted with the porcelain collection of the Museum of Porcelain (Musée de la Faïence). Porcelain samples of applied and decorative arts were exhibited in the exhibition halls. Presenting Taron Margaryan the rich collection of the museum Jean-Claude Gaudin noted that the samples were manufactured in the 1th century and were mainly donated to the museum. Marseille Mayor also added that the museum represents this branch of manufacture started as far back as the 16th century and is within the jurisdiction of Marseille Municipality.
