On October 3, 2026, friends, supporters, and longtime partners of Orran gathered at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles for Orran’s 18th Annual Fundraising Gala, marking another meaningful milestone in Orran’s 26-year journey of caring for children, families, and seniors in need.
The evening brought together a community united by a shared commitment to Orran’s mission. Master of ceremonies Michael Goorjian, the Emmy Award–winning actor, filmmaker, and writer, welcomed the guests. Archbishop Moushegh Movsisian then offered the blessing of the tables, and Ter Sevrop read a message from Archbishop Hovnan Derderian.
Narek, who spent eight years as an Orran child and is now a nuclear energy student at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, shared his success story and thanked the benefactors in a video message.
Haig Bagerdjian, a distinguished business leader, philanthropist, and longtime supporter of Orran, was honored for his continued dedication to Orran’s mission and the people it serves.
The joyful mood of the evening was further lifted by a surprise performance from Harout Pamboukjian, a longtime friend of both Orran and the honoree.
At the heart of the evening was a heartfelt message from Orran Founder Armine K. Hovannisian, who expressed her gratitude to everyone present:
“It is you who opened your hearts. All of you have been such an integral part of Orran’s history. Thank you for being here year after year, opening your hearts and continuing to support Orran.”
Attendees gave generously by taking part in the live auction, sponsoring a full year of meals for the children, or sponsoring a child.
For 26 years, Orran has been a place of support, opportunity, and hope for those in need. The Gala was a meaningful reminder that this work is made possible by a community that believes in Orran’s mission and continues to stand beside the organization year after year.
Orran extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us, supported the Gala, and continues to be part of our journey. With your support, we look forward to many more years of caring, serving, and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
