Հունաստանում ավերիչ երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել: Ստորգետնյա ցնցման ուժգնությունը էպիկենտրոնում կազմել է 9 բալ:

Ըստ նախնական տեղեկությւոնների`հունական Կոս կղզում մահացել է երկու և տուժել՝ մոտ 120 մարդ, իսկ մյուս կղզիներում` ևս 70-ը:

ՏԱՍՍ գործակալության փոխանցմամբ` էպիկենտրոնը գտնվել է Բոդրում հայտնի հանգստավայրից 12 կմ հեռավորության վրա, հունական Հռոդոս կղզուց 90 կմ հեռավորության վրա:

Երկրաշարժն առաջացրել է ոչ մեծ ցունամի։ Ստորգետնյա ցնցումները զգացվել են Էգեյան ծովի ողջ թուրքական ափի երկայնքով։ Քաղաքի որոշ շրջաններում տեղի է ունեցել էլեկտրականության անջատում:

Բոդրումի պետական հիվանդանոցի շենքի հիվանդները տարհանվել են։
